I'll spend my Christmas with you...

Ho ho ho, merry Christmas everybody!
I love this day, my favourite day of the year. For the first time it's a white Christmas! The snow is allready melting, but I can still see it.

Today family is coming over for dinner and also for all the presents. I allready received a few gifts from my parents this morning: a DVD ("School of Rock"), nail varnish, a blue nose friend, a cool ballpoint, chocolate and an alarm clock.

I also love watching Coca Cola commercials in Christmas style with the amazing trucks!

A moment, a love, a dream, a laugh

Sorry! I know it's a really long time ago I posted something, but here we go. I'll tell you what I've done lately. Not much actually.

First of all I had exams and for quite a long time: spread over three weeks. Last Friday I got my results and I was really relieved, because it was good :)
I've also went a few times to the movies. The problem is that I have a bad memory, so I forgot a few movies I've seen lately. I do remember (500) days of summer which was very good and Avater. I liked this last one aswell. In october I also saw the animated movie Up. Very funny :) Now I'm ready to watch Christmas movies!
Last Saturday I went to Brussels to a concert of The Temper Trap. I like a lot of Australian bands and artists so I was really glad to go. They were very good! An amazing singer. I hope they'll make a lot of other good music, but I'm quite sure of it.
Other things I've done last week were Christmas markets. I went to Brussels, Grimbergen and Lille.
Today I went shopping with my sister in Brussels. I'm really in need of winter clothes, but it's so hard to find. I'm happy I finally found a new blouse :)
Further, I'm just looking forward to Christmas even if I don't feel like Christmas time actually. However, I like to receive presents :)

I know you allready turned 16 this monday, but I have been quite busy because we both have exams now at school.

A week ago Editors were in Belgium for a gig, but they also came to the Fnac of Brussels that day. I'm not a really big Editors fan, but my sister is. So I went with her. I didn't had any CD's to get signed, but my sister and I are both on a picture with Tom Smith :)

You can't play on broken strings

Last monday I went to see James Morrison at the Ancienne Belgique. As I expected, he's a very good singer. The audience was very enthusiastic. Also James was, that's why I think he must be nice as person aswell :) My friend Sarah and I enjoyed it!

21st Century Breakdown

Finally! Finally it was 17 October. I was already waiting for so many months untill it was Green Day. Yesterday Liselot and I saw them at the Sportpaleis in Antwerp. Green Day was the first band I really really loved! So I'm very happy they came to Belgium. The gig yesterday was amazing! They played 2 hours and 30 minutes. Of course they played some songs of the newest album but they also played a lot of songs of American Idiot and older. The concert was quite long, but I wouldn't mind if they had played longer :) I really hope I will ever be able to see Green Day again, because it was very nice!

Wake me up when the blue bells are ringing

Saturday I went to a concert of Patrick Wolf with my sister. I allready saw him at Pukkelpop this year, but then I didn't know yet a lot of songs. I really liked the gig, so last months I've been listening to Patrick Wolf quite a lot. Also this time he was very good! He played a lot of good songs, like Bluebells, The Bachelor, The Magic Position and Lands End. I'm just a little sad he didn't play Vulture, because he had to go :( ! But maybe he will when I'll see him next time :) ( I hope there will be a next time ^^)

By the way... he was wearing some nice outfits :p

Crossing over

Yesterday I went to the movies to see Crossing Over. It's a movie about immigrants. A lot of actors play in it, including: Harrison Ford, Ray Liotta and Jim Sturgess (who looks quite good ;) ). It was a good movie, I really liked it. You should see it too :)

Into the midnight show...

I'm really excited about the news that the Killers are releasing their first DVD! It will be live from The Royal Albert Hall. As The Killers is my favourite band I will try to buy the DVD immediately from the moment I know it's released. Unforgettable Season

Today it's the 21st of september. That means summer is over and fall begins. I'm quite sad about it. Because now the good weather will probably end and it will be cold again. That's not everything. I'm going to miss all the good times I had during summer holiday: vacation to France and Dublin, the festivals, relaxing and just being outside. There will happen other good things next months, but I'm allready looking forward to next summer! :)

Yesterday I went to Antwerp like almost every week. It's difficult for me to pass by the Mango or the H&M without entering. So I went to the Mango and I saw this shirt I really like. It fitted and I bought it :)

I fell =(
It was time for lunch and Iris and me were seated at a table.
I grabbed my lunch and my tissues fell..
I tried to reach out for them, my foot got stuck, and next thing I knew, I was lying on the floor -.-"
People laughing all around us.. =p
But yeah, I got them at the end.. =D
That's like the most interesting thing that happened today x)
